Franklin Craft Mann, 58, of Carmel, died at 10:45 p.m. Sunday at the Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He had been seriously ill for two weeks and in failing health for eight years. Mr. Mann had done radio and television repair work in Crawfordsville for many years. He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Crawfordsville. Born Sept. 10, 1906, at Indianapolis, he was the son of Willis and Alice Craft Mann. On Sept. 20, 1941, he married Georgia McCullough of Wingate in Indianapolis. Mr. Mann was a graduate of Shortridge High School in Indianapolis and of the Chicago Radio Institute. He had also done radio and television repair work in Indianapolis. He was a veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Army during that time. Survivors include the widow; a son, Frederick, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Cocherell of Indianapolis and Mrs. Harriett Hiatt of Lafayette, and four nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery at Wingate. afternoon with Rev. Ralph Jones, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, Crawfordsville, officiating. Mrs. Anna Grenard played organ music and accompanied John D. Thomas who sang "The Lord's Prayer." Serving as pall bearers were Martin Wall, Rodd Hiatt, Dick Graves, Paul Sommer, Clyde Pendergraft, and Bill Douglas. They also assisted with the flowers. Burial was in the Green Lawn Cemetery, Wingate.
